Licking A Rubber Ring

This is another shot of Scott at his aqua babies class. This time he's playing and getting to float with a green rubber ring. I'm not sure if he's licking the ring here or trying to drink the water. He quite often tries to drink the water.

Standing Smiling

This is a nice shot of Scott just standing up and giving the camera a nice smile. Dungarees and striped t-shirts are rapidly becoming his outfit of choice.

Where Am I Now?

Scott got this nice back carrier so he could be carried around the countryside. This was when he visited his great-great-aunt Helen in Glascwm, which is somewhere in Wales. Half way up a hill the wind picked up and Scott started to cry. That was why we had to head home. Nothing to do with dad's aching legs.

Casper With Teeth

Back in that Casper (or Hopkirk) suit. Another shot in Wales. And can you see the two middle bottom teeth?

I Like Making A Mess When I Eat

What can I say? This is how Scott looks when he's been eating now. Actually, this is possibly quite restrained since there's no food in the hair and the outfit's reasonably clean. Nice to see he still manages a smile during his meals. He's a pretty good eater so getting him to stop long enough for a photo can be a job in itself.

Reading A Book About Cats

This book came from Gwen, who Scott first met when he went to visit Edinburgh. Scott likes it a lot now and he almost looks like he's reading it here. I suspect he's getting ready to stuff it into his mouth. He's never taken much notice of animals until recently - birds being his favourite. I wonder what he'll do the next time he meets a real cat?

Soft Book

This is one of several soft material books that Scott has. They're pretty cool and Scott's come from around the world. The best thing is, they don't disintegrate when sucked but I suppose that's the point really. As well as soft material books, Scott's got a rubber book for when he's in the bath. That one has a detachable dolphin that squirts water - usually in mum's face.

Stand Up Straight Child You Look Like A Peasant

This is another shot of Scott standing up on his rocket play mat, generally looking very angelic I think. The suit he's wearing is from Ailsa and John in Glasgow who are Scott's dad's brother-in-law's parents. Needless to say Scott was up in Glasgow meeting people. He went on the underground to visit the West End so he could hang out and look cool. And visit John Smith's to buy some records from Stephen Pastel.

Where's My Pudding?

I think this is quite a strange picture of Scott cos it doen't really look like him. Only it does. But he's got something dripping from his mouth which I assumed was his dinner. But his tray is clean so it must be something else. I suppose that means it could be just about anything!

Brush That Teeth

Don't believe this picture for one moment. Cleaning Scott's teeth is never this easy. Fortunately, he usually falls asleep during his pre-bedtime milk feed so we just wrap a finger up in some gause, rub on a scraping of toothpaste, then ram the finger in the sleeping boy's mouth. When he doesn't fall asleep, he usually doen't get his teeth cleaned very well.

Oh No - The Rings Eating Me

This looks to me like Scott is being eaten by his nest ring. He's possibly just fallen over and he's and he's probably in distress, but we do like to get our priorities right so we took a picture before saving him.

Football Crazy

Scott's wearing his football strip he got from great-aunt Chrissy in Aberdeen. If the green bits were yellow it would almost look like a Port Vale strip, which would be a bit deranged. Not as deranged as Scott looks with that hair-do mind. Maybe he'll grow up to be an Aussie Rules player.

Naked Lump

This looks like Scott about to get greased up for his bath. Before doing this I suppose I wanted to show how he still fits into one arm. Not for long though. He'll be wriggling free in no time and need both arms plus ropes or restrainers or something to hold him I imagine.
