I Eat Prunes

I Eat Prunes

Scott's eating a piece of dried fruit here. He's started having dried fruit (apples, pairs, peaches, prunes, etc.) after his lunch instead of a pudding. He still has a yogurt every day after his dinner though. His yogurt is possibly the highlight of his day and he sometimes screams with excitement when he sees it being taken out of the fridge. The bright dungarees he's wearing were a summer gift from his Granny Wilma.

Crossed Legs

Crossed Legs

Sitting with your legs crossed can look a bit odd when your legs are as short as Scott's. Relative to the rest of your body that is. Still, it seems to be keeping Scott happy. Notice Scott keeps a clock in his cot. He likes the ticking when he's in his bed at night.

Outdoor Eating

Outdoor Eating

When we get some nice summer weather in Manchester Scott likes to sit out in the backyard to have his meals. I think he likes this because he can make as much mess as he wants. There is a downside though, any sticky plates or spoons or yogurt pots dropped on the ground are usually covered in dirt and small stones, so Scott can't have them back.

Under The Sofa

Under The Sofa

One of Scott's latest tricks is to slide right underneath the sofas in both the front and back lounge. This one's in the front lounge and it's a bit of an awkward height for Scott since he can get his head under it when he turns it side ways but if he straightens his head up, he's stuck. Obviously, this isn't a position Scott likes to find himself in.

Drunk On Milk

Drunk On Milk

I can only assume that this deranged expression is the result of a big pre-bed feed which has left Scott in a state of disarray. I'd like to think he's waving goodnight here, but it would seem unlikely. He's probably just flailing wildly.

Reach For The Stars

Reach For The Stars

Scott always loves getting a ride on one of his parents' shoulders. This looks like a post dinner ride, which is a bit of a daily event. He quite likes to bounce up and down with excitement when he's on someone's shoulders and he gets very excited if you show him himself in a mirror, squealing with delight usually and blowing raspberries.

Rosy Cheeks

Rosy Cheeks

I've no idea why Scott's cheeks are rosy here. I think this is possibly the last ever photo of Scott in his nest though. He's got a bit big for it now and it tips over when he leans on the edge.

I Wonder What I Can Do With This Clean Washing

I Wonder What I Can Do With This Clean Washing?

Scott takes great interest in anything in the washing basket, especially clean things he can make a mess of. He likes to throw ironed clothes around the floor too. That particularly nice outfit he's wearing is another present he got from his great-auntie Chris in Aberdeen.
